Chris is a great asset as an engineer. I know I’m able to trust him regardless of the show I put him on. He knows how to build meaningful connections with clients and bands which makes them want to work with us on a consistent basis.
Dave Phillips (Prestige Sound Owner, dS:uK Owner/MD)
As a live sound engineer, I’ve experience using several different consoles, such as Yamaha, Presonus, Allen & Heath & Midas. For me understanding consoles is more than basic level operation of gating, eq and compression, but understanding how best to use buses, matrixes and routing in order to improve the live sound of a band. For running smaller live event’s/conferences, I use a Presonus RML16AI, with a Sennheiser G3 Wireless Microphone and a Sennheiser G3 Wireless IEM system (This is also used with my work as a keys/MD player). Full specifications are below. This can be rented either with or without an engineer. If you’re ever in need of a full PA System, Wireless IEMs and Theatre ready mixing consoles, I highly recommend talking to Prestige Sound about booking us for bigger events. We’re happy to help you organise ad hoc function events, national theatre tours and more.
Below is my gig map, a collection of all the different venues I’ve worked at, this can be with theater shows, original projects, or studio work. I’m always looking to add more venues and locations to my growing list. Feel free to look through the established places I’ve worked at, or contact me about planning a tour to add some more to this website!
