Currently, I work primarily in live sound as part of “Barwix Productions”. It’s an ecclectic mix of live sound for large tribute shows, such as TaylorMania, Diana Ross Story, Drag Me To The 80s, Luther Live, dS:uK & The BeeGee’s Songbook.
As a musician, I play keyboard/MD for original alternative rock band “Persepolis”, alongside singer-songwriter Rosalia Ritchie. I’m also the show runner, MD, keys & rapper for my tribute show to 2010s Dance Music “Decadance”.
Blending technical precision with creative instinct, Barwix is the work of a live sound engineer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist dedicated to delivering powerful, expressive audio. From festival stages to recording studios, every project is approached with a deep respect for the artist’s vision and a commitment to translating it into immersive sound.
I began my freelance career in the studio, releasing my debut albums “The Beginning” & “Overthinking” under my artist name Barwix. Following this I began collaborating with artists and bands on their own original material. This was a mixture of acoustic singer-songwriters to indie bands & art-rock musicians. Some of my credited work includes Rosalia Ritchie, Alex Carter, Alchemy & Ruby Sue. With radio success on BBC Radio Norfolk, BBC Radio Derbyshire & Future Radio.
Whilst working as a Music Producer, I also began working in live sound, initially by working with PX Productions on their 90s Jam show as a live sound engineer. This progressed further into me working at resorts during the summer seasons mixing live bands, cabaret shows and in-house cast performances. This included me running pyrotechnics, flying winch and lighting.
Alongside this, I’ve spent time training technicians at resorts and holiday parks in order to prepare them for running in-house shows, outside entertainment and technical problems.

In the studio, currently I’m working on both Rosalia Ritchie’s and Alex Carter’s second debut records whilst also writing my own solo material again.
In my spare time, I enjoy gaming (currently both Pokemon VGC & Splatoon 3). When at home, I really enjoy experimenting with specialty coffee and trying different roasters and blends.
